# Trust & safety

A marketplace that says it's "safe" is a promise. MuslimTasker has the following shipped in production:

- **ID verification.** Government ID + selfie match for every tasker at onboarding, with re-verification when documents expire (via Stripe Identity).
- **Escrow + 24-hour dispute window.** Customer deposits are held by Stripe until job completion is confirmed. A 24-hour window protects both parties.
- **License enforcement.** Emergency services require certifications. Taskers can't claim those jobs without verified credentials.
- **Human dispute review.** Disputed jobs are reviewed by a real person. Stripe chargebacks are an escalation path, not the first line of defense.
- **Stripe Connect payouts.** Taskers are paid directly via Stripe Connect — no intermediary handling the money.
- **End-to-end audit trail.** Every state change — claim, arrival, completion, dispute — is logged and replayable by support if needed.
